Driveshaft Torque
I updated my game to 1.46 quite late as I was waiting for some mods to be updated, but once I did recently, I noticed that my trucks didn't behave the way it should as seen on the videos from SCS and other Youtubers on driveshaft torque. I tried all types of settings tuning the suspension, cabin suspension, stability of truck and trailer and even the driveshaft torque level to from extreme right to left, but I could barely see the difference in my trucks and apart from the RJL Scania, all other trucks are SCS ones so I thought it should work, but wasn't, then today I happened to buy a new Scania R NG and voila all the settings I had done is now working on this truck inch perfect as I wanted. Now, the question is ever since the game update, those who had their trucks from previous game versions, should they sell them and buy them again in order for this new update to work on all trucks, is it something others have experienced too?

All the trucks Ive driven that I previously owned have worked right after the update without resetting or selling them.

I thought I had the same problem when I first looked for the torque effect. You need to be towing a load for it to take effect and show on the truck. It's subtle but very good. Without the load the truck just accelerates. It's the load that prevents the truck pulling away and so the torque twists the driveshaft which has the effect of lifting the truck slightly. I'm quite happy to be corrected by someone that knows better.

Exactly how it behaves for me on an unmodded, totally vanilla profile. It looks really authentic with a trailer hooked up.

OP: you should try this:
Verify your game files. You can do this by doing a right-click on the game in your Steam Library and going to "Properties". There you go to "Local files" and there should be the option to verify your files. This will fix any missing or corrupt game files.
Start a new, unmodded, vanilla profile (you can have as many as you want) and test the game. Mods, even turned off, can cause unexpected problems, modded trucks even more so.

The trucks in Europe have a shorter wheel base so the "twist" is not as shown as in American trucks but as stated by Demonbarber you really won't notice it unless the truck had a load behind it the heavier load the more you'll see the twist. The only problem I see and I can state this as I do drive American trucks for a living the physic are almost there but the force feed back is a little off. when I have a hard pull the truck twist and the wheel pulls hard to the right with each twist, in real life the power steering would handle this and you won't notice it. the other thing and I personally don't know how SCS can code it but if you have a air ride suspension as the drive axles will lift and the back of the truck will pick up off the axles and will drop with you applying the brakes, again the coding on top of the lift system they just added to the game I don't know if it'll happen/ but the one thing I want is to disconnect the send trailer (B-doubles, turnpike doubles etc) and have a second drop point.
