No external market jobs
In this event, and the last event also, I see no external market jobs in the whole of Iberia. Using the same truck and mods, if I go as far as Lyon, France, I get jobs and event jobs, but south of that, in France, and in all of Iberia, no jobs found, neither event jobs (gifts) or normal jobs. It doesn't matter which city I'm located in, no jobs show. I don't have any map mods in effect, and in any case, in northern France or Germany I see plenty of jobs, with the exact same setup.

The fact that the central part of Europe already has all 1000 deliveries in every city, yet in Iberia, most cities have only a few hundred, leads me to think others may have this issue as well.

What's going on? Restarting the game, resting for some hours, refresh the job screen, none of these make any difference.

i delivered some in spain and drove from spain to Finland, no problem.

Mod problem. Some cargo and/or economy mod is causing issues on your end.

If it was a mod issue I'd expect no jobs anywhere though. As it is only parts of the map are affected.

disabling any mod which touches economy or map makes no difference, I tried that. If I go to Germany or France, I get loads of jobs.

I have no issue with getting contracts anywhere. So the issue is on your end. Are you sure you connected your map DLCs to your WoT account?

I have done almost all my event jobs exclusively in Spain and Portugal, there is absolutely no problem in a vanilla game getting them at any location. 20 different cities all round the Iberia map, one after the other.
Check your maps are connected, as Wolfgang suggests, it is essential, as well as not using map or cargo mods.

map connection might be the answer. The maps with issues are ones I didn't have already, so that could be it, I shall investigate.

It might be the answer but I see no way to verify it. I'd bet that I likely did link the map DLC when I installed it, but there's no way I can see to tell. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the problem maps in steam. On restarting the game, the maps don't show in the launcher DLC browser, and after re-installing the showed up again but I didn't get any prompt to link them to WoT. Nor can I see any options for linking in the game or in WoT account :(

When you are in your profile click on "Online" and there should be an option to check for DLCs that aren't connected to WoT.

Aha. Now I have to work out why the steam account doesn't match the WoT steam account. Maybe WoT hasn't been told to use a steam account. As I only have 1 steam account and 1 WoT account, it can't be the wrong one :)

It seems that it the issue. Likely the old DLCs pre-dated the steam version of the game, as I owned ETS2 pre-steam.

If you made your WoT account using the key on the CD then this can be the cause, yes. Which means you should connect it to your steam account (for that to work your games need to be publicly visible) and it should certainly work.

and another brick wall. The game, when logged in to WoT and with steam cloud on, says that it can't link new content to WoT because the current steam account doesn't match the WOT steam account. Since I only have one steam account, that's improbable. I changed the email address/login in WoT to match the one used by steam, but that seems not to make any difference. I don't see a way to link my steam account from the WoT website, or in game. The game logs in to WoT when I load the profile without issues.

Tried making a new profile from scratch, same issue. I suspect the problem is that my WoT account pre-dates Steam. I can't join WoT with a new sign up from Steam, because my games are already registered on WoT. I can't see way on WoT to unlink them, nor to delete the WoT account although I don't want to do that anyway, as I would lose all the progress on it.

Just have to hope that support responds, I guess. meantime I'll see if I can find somewhere I can haul gifts to...

It's not been an issue until I got new DLC. The base game still works correctly and I see external market jobs. I see no way to alter the registration of the games. WoT is happy that it has ETS2 and ATS linked to it, but I can't un-link them, nor can I link them again by launching from steam, because they're already linked. Gonna need support to fix it I reckon.

Well I found I could see jobs in the UK, so working there for a while. Although not sure a Portuguese based truck can do domestic work in the UK post-brexit :D Now I wait to see if WoT support respond to my request, and if they can fix it.
