DLC not installed

Bought Scandinavia DLC, but it says not installed. What do I do to correct this?

does it show in the dlc section on the game page of your library - if it's recognised as owned then it should show there but as "not installed" and from there, you tick that box as laberbacke said, when re-ticked, it should start the download.

I had the paris "DLC" for hitman do the same on purchase, but unticking and reticking It in the library fixed it

But of course, if it's not shown with the rest of your DLC (going east, paintjobs, etc) then something else is amiss and you may need to talk to where you bought the DLC - I take it you redeemed the steamkey for it etc ok

Might need to re-start Steam client to get it to go.

Clicked play from DLC menu, nothing. I thought it was suppose to just work.

It's terrible ! I will buy too DLCs in next weeks I'm sure...is this happening to other players too ? Good luck for the fix !

as has been said, if it's shown in the dlc section as "not installed" then un-checking and re-checking the install box should start the download. Another thing to try would be to go to "delete local game content" and then re-try the download. But make sure you've backed everything up first of course

Something similar happened to me too.

A short time later Steam asked for a restart because of an update that had been downloaded and installed in the background.

After restarting Steam with the Stea mupdate installed, everything worked fine again. The DLC downloaded and worked as usual afterwards.

Sorry to bump, but for all of those this happens to, make sure you haven't got your downloads and updates scheduled. If they are, Euro 2 won't install the newly purchased DLC until it can download. I disable scheduled updates and my Irish Flag art and Vive Le France begun downloading.

Sorry to revive an old topic but i just had the same problem, When going to launch EuroTruckSimulator2.exe It asked me to choose a install location, When i chose one it installed All the Dlcs again.
