You buy a cheap wheel and that's just the chance you take. Save up some more and get a Driving Force GT.

If you're set on it though, I see no reason it wouldn't work.

I haven't been playing ets for a long time. Only on my 2nd account for 50 hrs. So i dont want to pay more than 120 dollars for a steering wheel.

Better try Trust GTX 540

One thing to keep in my mind. That Trust 288 wheel only has 270 degrees of rotation. I would HIGHLY recommend getting a wheel with full 900 degrees for ETS2. The ETS2 in-cab wheel rotates to about 760 degrees. Imho, it would not be a pleasant experience playing ETS with only 270 degrees of rotation.

..... yet. It's going to be very weird watching your in-game wheel spin like crazy when you just make a small movement.

But, to each his own. Good luck! :)

If you're only going to play it for 50 hours, I wouldn't recommend spending any money at all.

If you're going to buy a wheel, it should be for the sake of having one, not just for playing one game. I use mine for several games - Project Cars, Farming Sim, ETS2, ATS, GTA V, SpinTires etc.....

If i had 1k hours in farming simulator, i would definetely but one for 200 dollars ahhaa.
Got a gxt288, set it to x input mode, calibrated it under windows, in game selected xbox360, xbox360, steering wheel, manually set the axis right for the pedals, force feedback is on.
Logitech g29s are coming down in price , I got on on black friday with the shifter for £109 on amazon.
