You will want to look at the 'Options -> Controls, and check that the 'bar' under that section for Steering wheel moves left & right as expected, when you turn the wheel. If it does not, then I'd look real hard at the G920, since the game can only process the signals it is being sent GOOD LUCK
Might be something bugged out there.
Be sure to make a back up of those files first.
Then restart the game and re select & calibrate your input devices.
Yes, it is plugged into mains, and i got a replacement the other day and the exactly same effect. but it does calibrate
