Safe websites for mods?
Hello! I am new to ets2 and have been looking around on youtube about this game and noticed that there's ALOT of mods to try on this game then just the workshop but having trouble finding "safe/non virus" looking websites to download from so i am trying my luck on this forum and hope that someone have some info. I am also from sweden, so if any swedish player out there, or any other nation of course, have some info it would be much appreciated!

Safest site is SCS own forum https://forum.scssoft.com/viewforum.php?f=24
Kan man ladda ner mods därifrån, eller är det ett community/forum bara? Tackar för svar

I'm using this one, never had any problem with it.

Just pay attention on the pop-up windows so you don't download something other than a mod. Best practice is to use extensions to block ads and other possible pop-ups. For an example ABP Plus on Chrome.

Most mods are shared using sharemods.com and I never had any issue with that.

Moddare annonserar där om vad de gör och tillhandahåller länkar ja.

All these people have given you some good advise, But while you are add it. Download some adblockers, they will help along the way. The one I use are these.

https://adblockplus.org/

https://stopad.io/

These 2 will work together. Good luck.

Fortunately, our users with subscriptions will still be able to use the app as usual through the end of the subscription period.

Steam Workshop would be the most safe option, but these are some that I use outside of the workshop.

Jazzycat traffic mods:
http://jazzycat.ucoz.net/

Grimes season mods:
https://grimesmods.wordpress.com/

ETS2 Mods LT:
https://ets2.lt/en/

And as said before a addblocker are prefered to deal with the Sheremods/Modsbase links, I'm on FireFox and have Ghostery install and it deals with all pop-ups and adds.
