G27 on Linux Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

someone can tell me how to operate the G27 in Ubuntu 04.16 LTS, I tried some methods but the wheel does not work, pedals, gear and other buttons all work, but the steering wheel is not detected

I didn't want to add anything to UDEV, so I made a script I run each time I connect the wheel

ltwheelconf --wheel DFP --nativemode --range 900

is what is in my script, adjust wheel parameter to G27

this works fine for me with driving force pro on debian stable. force feedback doesn't work, but I believe that is due to an older kernel; 16.04 should be new enought to have it (4.0 I think is where it was added but I could be wrong).

Edit: also make sure the controller type or whatever is set to wheel and not gamepad; try that before anything else.
