Adaptive Cruise Control

I've been trying to get ACC to work for like ages, doesn't seem like it does. I'm on 1.46(have they removed it or does it just not want to work/only works on some trucks). I've done these commands in the console:
g_acc 30
g_acc_sens 20

Also, the emergency brake works, it's just that ACC doesn't work. Anyone know why?

Not sure how things changed since its first appearance into beta, but g_acc should be set between 1 and 10. If do you have more recent info please share : )

This is NOT an official feature but highly experimental thus you WILL run into issues using it (which is like any change to your config file on your own risk). And due to its highly experimental state and it being unofficial SCS is also not accepting any bug reports regarding it.

What does this command do? g_acc_sens 20

Are stored into config.cfg under each profile you may have, are not in the global config.cfg. Default (I guess, I didn't touch them) values are:

uset g_acc_sens "20"
uset g_emergency_mode "1"
uset g_emergency_brake "0"
uset g_acc "0.0"

One of the "emergency" values is new to me, I'm not using it myself.

@Kanth - from my understanding it is how many times per second the game is checking around you if there is need to adapt to surrounding traffic. The higher the more accurate but more computing resources needed.

Got rid of emergency brake, truck kept slowing right down for oncoming traffic.
Just using ACC. Tried it at 75 and still works. Just gives more time to allow for traffic slowing in front.

I see, how do you guys even get it working haha! I seem to not be able to get it working while setting it 9 or 10!

it work well in 1.46
I think g_acc is the distance from front car
I set 20, 25, 30, 40, 35.. now using 35
I turned off g_emergency_brake
it turned off the cruise control.. and braking is not so strong..

remember 'don't accelerate manually. if so, it won't brake.'
