Lost ETS 2 account reset PC but linked with World of trucks

so basically I've had to reset my pc and i've lost my ETS 2 account but its linked to world of trucks so does anyone know a way of getting it back some how? would be appreciated if anyone can help, proper gutted..:(

I am not sure about recovering your ets account / game saves but if u set a new one up and bought a new truck you can still use your world of trucks account just fine with the new ets 2 game account. so no need to worry as i have had do the same myself yesturday.

Did you have your game on steam? or just the retail disc version? If it's on steam, no worries. Just download it again. If you had the store bought version, just find your cd key and put it in again... then register that key in steam so you won't have to worry about it again..

What the heck is a ETS 2 account? If you mean you lost the game save, you can just make a new one and link it to the World of Trucks account.

ETS 2=Euro truck simulator 2, and when I re downloaded ets 2 from steam it just started a new account, I don't wanna start again put a lot of hours into it haha

ahh, you mean "profile" not account. I though you lost your cd key with the retail version.

If you did not back up your data, you lost it. You will have to start a new profile. Your old one is gone forever. Let this be a learning experience. Back up your profiles once in a while. that way if your computer crashes or the profile gets corrupted by mods or some other thing you always have your backups you can copy back and use.

If I'm not mistaken, you're talking about the profile you select every time you launch the game. If so, the old one is gone unless you have made backups of it, since it contains your game save and progress.

Unless you backed up yoru profiles they are gone. They are not saved anywhere online to download, you have to back them up yourself. They are just saved on your computer hard drive.
