Scania T longline crashing my game ?

seems to be crashing my game now, i un installed it, even re downloaded latest version, i can buy it, but when i got to put the 8/4 chassis on there it crashes my game, i dont understand it as ive done well over 100k miles in it ? has the game updated thats causing this problem ?

Nope. Using that at the moment. The only problem I've had is with a single Italian toll booth that won't let me through. Everything else is okay.

Really wierd, i was using the peterbilt for a while and decided to go back to the Scania T, but every time i picked it it would crash my game, so i removed it from the mod folder and it loaded the game ok, so i added it back to buy it again, but every time i got to adding the 8x4 chassis crash bang wollop there it would go again, i have added the Volvo FH16 ohama recently and wondering if its that thats conflicting ?

That's strange, I've been using the Longline along side my Peterbilt 389 and Kenworth W900 Long and haven't noticed any issues with the Scania. I haven't tried every combination of parts to see if their is a conflict somewhere in the mod but it's been stable so far.

Are you sure you're running 1.12 and not an older version of ETS2 and it is the latest version of Scania Longline from a reputable source?

yea, i even re down loaded the same Scania T incase it was bugged, but every time i picked the 8X4 it would crash, so i down loaded another version and the 8X4 chassis isnt even there now ?
So no idea whats going on with it, will have to start removing some mods to see whats conflicting :(

I have the Scania T with the 8x4 chasis and i can drive around but when i try to hook up a trailer the game crashes. It worked fine with 1.10 but not with 1.11 and 1.12. Im using the scania version 2.2 from henki.

I bought it again and it works fine even on 1.12

Erm, Did you read this blurb in description by the author of the original Scania T ?

He pretty much tells ya what the issue is. Reinstall prior version, sell the chassis, then install the mod.
IMPORTANT: If you have 8x2 chassis, change it to some other chassis before updating to V1.4

Once you do that, you wont have that issue. Least it worked here when I moved from the 'stolen 1.3 to his new version'

I miss the better dash in the 'stolen' 1.3 that was tweaked by another but using the 1.4 now , no issue with 1.12 and TSM 5.2

I installed this mod and when I went to buy the Scania T, the game crashed. I have a Scania Evolution mod and plenty of others at the moment and I don`t know why it keeps crashing!!! Please help!

This is an old thread, but the existence of your other Scanias in conjunction with the Scania T may be the problem. This is usually found in 'default engine declarations'. At least that's what it was with my Scania T.
