Speed Limits not matching Signs

Ive had this problem all over the UK and keep getting various speeding tickets.
I keep hitting these all over where the signs dont match what the games Navigation says the speed is. And the speed camera's match the Navigation, so i CANT drive without the Navi or im guaranteed to get a speeding ticket at nearly every Speed Camera unless i slow to 30mph.

For example ive just traveled the length of the A68. The Signs say the speed Limit is either "60mph" or "50mph" yet the Navigation shows the speed limit as "40mph" The entire way. The only bit thats correct is the short 30mph section.
Its like this all over, a sign shows the speed limit has changed but the navi doesnt change. So when a sign says i can go from 30 to 50 then gives me a speed camera i get fined for going over 30 !!!

Use the GPS speed limit (added in version 1.11 of the game) not the signs, the signs are for cars only, Big Rig trucks have to drive slower since they carry more weight.

Ok, so i did some research and Thanks Nite your right. Wish it gave that advice ingame thou.
Built up areas 30 = HGV 30
Single carriageways, 50 & 60 = HGV 40
Dual carriageways - 70 = HGV 50
Motorways - 70 = HGV 60 (thou they are capped at 55 anyway)

I got it now, just expect a headache when i try to work out the Europe ones :D

the 55 speed limit can be disabled in the gameplay options if ya want to go faster :) I had my truck up to 100+ several times not carrying about the speed limit hehe and reached my delivery destination several hours ahead of schedule without any damage.

I havnt crashed... properly yet (25% on the trailer, once) but im certain if i unlock the speed limit im gonna take out a poor farmers house.

LOL, yea I could see that being hard if using manual transmission, but with the gameplay set to simple automatic its easy at 100

lol, bet u have a controler or wheel and pedals too right. im using mice and keyboard. So minor course changes are hard to make. Specially at high speed.

Nope I'm using keyboard and mouse as well :) its what simple automatic was meant to be used on.

yeah. 100kph is easy with keyboard and mouse provided there aren too many overly tight turns. you just have to turn steering sensitivity to its minimum
