Hi,

I was strolling through Euro Truck 2's website when I saw that they had implemented some sort of API, so I downloaded the SDK, checked out the examples, and put together a little project together that lets you view your truck's current speed, rpm, gear and heading online, on an http server with the help of Node.js. Sooo, you can setup your smartphone on your desk to have an external display for that info. Of course, it still needs a lot of work (it looks awful), but it's a pretty cool thing to play around with.

Keep in mind that the speed displayed as a number is a little off from the game itself, don't know why.

Yeah the plugin is the one that gives the data to the server, so it won't work without it

almost works fine just localhost isnt getting any data from the game :(

Ok, I forgot to do something kindof important with the plguin compilation. I am doing it now and uploading it. Can you check it out to see if it works?

So you don't get the SDK confirmation dialogue at the beginning of the game either?

:S That is sooo weird, it works just fine here, and is compiled for everything, it's like if it didn't see the plugin, but it's there

Ok so as far as i read (and tested from my console enabled ingame) i get the error It says:

Oh wow that is exactly the same story haha, yep you might need Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013[www.microsoft.com] to make it run

Edit - This needs to work :D It looks like it worked for the other dude, and this plugin is in release mode, so no need for Debug .dlls

Okay so i might be missing something else because the installer says i have it installed (the Visual C++ 2013) gonna try the repair option on the installer :v

Edit - nope it didn't work and the weird thing is all i find on google about the error is different languages sites .. either my system has a problem and i don't realize it or idk gonna keep searching

Ok so hopefully my post get's approved in scssoft forums i posted about the problem (http://forum.scssoft.com/viewforum.php?f=8)

Edit - i think it got deleted.. i think scs doesn't want the telemetry stuff fixed either that or it's waiting re-approval again ..i hope for the latter
