HI SCS i have serius question about your games do you plane put a new engine and graphic ? becouse your games looks to old, textures are not good your games are good but as the time goes the graphic is older and older you just puts only maps and other things ? you did nothing !! Think about it...

Ahojte SCS mam serioznu otázku o vaších hrách, plánujete do budúca prejsť konečne na nový engine ? pretože tento je už zastaralí a aj textury su biedne hra zaspala dobu treba stým aj niečo urobiť neberte to ako hejt ale proste ma to štve že nerobíte nič len mapy pritom jak čas plynie hra je staršia a staršia a to človek už vidí na grafike a to nehovoriac o daších xx vecí čo tam chýba.. Mali by ste sa zamyslieť nad sebou a nad buducnosťou tejto skvelej série áno vaše hry ma bavia neraz som vás podporil ale ako hráč čakám že sa hra aj niekde reálne pohne dopredu dosť bolo tejto old gen grafiky alebo ste len leniví niečo urobiť ?fakt by ma to zaujímalo. Dakujem za prípadnu vašu odpoved.

They, SCS, have done plenty,
Just off the top of my head.
FMOD ... improved sound.
Better assets,
New and free trucks.
Re doing older areas of the map to take into account of the newer assets being used.
Multiplayer (Convoy).
GPS Voice Navigation.
Your own trailers.

New engine We are waiting multi-core support for years. The game doesn t have working AA even, and you want new engine from this guys Just forget about it

SCS use their own game engine which they update as needed. Also there is Nothing wrong with the graphics. Think about it...OP

The 2D trees aren't particularly good-looking... I mean, this ain't 1997 you know...

graphicswise it's still quite at the top of the genre next to farming simulator, bus simulator and train sim world. That's just the state of the art as of now for simulator games. This genre might be more successful than ever before, but it's still rather a small niche genre, which can't afford investions of like half a billion € upfront just to make it look 20% more pretty

If you expect todays AAA-graphics here, then you can propably wait like at least another decade.

You mean those you aren't supposed to be less than 2 km from them, as they're on the far background? Just don't use fly camera. I think you can live with it. NEXT!!!

Actually like 10-20 metres away from your truck. And all leaves even on "good" trees are in 2d and rotate with camera. And grass with flowers are too.

To be fair, yeah, I think almost 3000 hours of playtime proofs that I can live with the graphics. But there's no way, I'm going to say these are good graphics. That's the line for me.

Again, you can only notice these 2D assets from very close if using fly camera. Most of gameplay cameras are far from them.

You say that like you were playing a pixel game from the 1990s.

The day they make an update to have every single leaf 3D modeled, people will rush here about poor performance.

...I think this game looks awesome...I'm running at 400% scaling @1080P and my game looks wonderful....and I also use a mod called Fael Environment V3.1 that makes the trees and foliage look quite realistic (at least to my eyes) It's available on the Steam Workshop

These are down to your settings. Don't complain about trees being low detail when you have it set that way in the graphic settings.

Every time SCS make an improvement thee is a massive outcry that ops cant run game as the FPS is shot.
Improvements are all very well but not everyone has access to top class rigs as what I read from the posts there's a lot of ops running this game on laptops that are , in truth, "getting on" and they are unable, for whatever reason, to upgrade/replace them so therefore an upgrade in this game, esp in the graphics, is not an option for them.
There are plenty of (hands thrown up in horror) graphic mods out so that ops have the choice to use. I myself use Realistic Brutal Graphics and Weather mod with game setting set to just short of max giving me 90-100 FPS which is plenty for me. No lags or stutters whilst autosaving or loading AI traffic.
I have just rebuilt my pc from the ground up with: MSI MAG FORGE 100R case, ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-E, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X Socket AM5, ASUS ROG Ryujin 240mm water cooler, Corsair 32mb DDR 3200, Asus RTX3090, Hitachi 1TB SSD and a Sumsung 34" SJ55W UWQHD Monitor (2560x1080 @ 144hz) cos I saved hard and used a bit of my pension fund.
I can now really enjoy my driving (inc racing with a realistic number of AI drivers) without all the stuttering going on plus have the benefit of using a rig without it sounding like jet taking taking off with full afterburners on.
Just got to work which DD wheel to go for now as my G25 is starting to show its age also as I now go online racing it just not good enough.
