Fed up with those game updates

Since the new update I have again lost about 10% of road discovery. Last year happened the same.
There are many cities I have visited road I drove on which are now marked as unknown.
It is impossible to achieve the 100% map discovery.
and I really ask myself where the added value is.

Simply uninstall the game if you don't like the updates, because it's going to happen whether you like it or not.

The added value is redone some base map to better quality, if talking about the map. If you asked me the added value is worth it, yes every day in the week.

I can understand your wish to achieve 100% map discovery. I have the same goal. So in the settings I choose not to get updates. I continue with 1.43 and promods 2.6 until I get the 100%.

Hey, the updates really do improve the game. Free tanker trailers. On the work page, they have included a "time to next rest" clock. You can't complain it's all for free!!! Rain sensors. it don't get any better....IT'S FREE!!

I really don't care about those upgrades. I have a mod to have resting time different from the games. Trailers ?? I don't have any because there is no return on the money you invest in trailers...

I don't see any. Especially since the user looses is game progress. Over a year, my progress has been deleted twice about 10%. Austria is now as if I have never been there. Poland the same. Moreover, as many cities are now totally undiscovered, it is not possible to use the quick travel feature to get there, as they are all reset.
Also Newcastle, Cambridge, Kalmar (S) all those cities have been done again.
That really sucks. 10% is about 10 000km to drive again. These are hours of game that have been wasted.

Game updates don't touch the user directory files, so something else is doing this.

No but if they revamp a road or a city, the user has never drive on it. So it is undiscovered although it was.

I am done with these updates. All map mods are now incompatible with the new version. I'm tired of waiting two to three weeks for a new map. So SCS can kiss my ass now. I wouldn't be buying Montana DLC on August 4.

the developers are constantly improving the game and adding roads. I see no problem with that, especially when it's done FOR FREE. While I would like to get 100% discovery, it seems like it's more of a time sink than a way to enjoy the game.

If some of you people don't like the updates, well then tough luck for you. SCS will keep updating the maps and adding new stuff. You don't like it go and find something else to play

It's not the developers' fault that updates are incompatible with outdated mods, that's the mod creators' fault, which is why I don't play the game with mods. Pure vanilla is very enjoyable IMO.

You don't loose progress - the map is also updated with nearly every update. So there are new streets - Cities have new roads. So there are more roads than before and sure they are undiscovered - you were not there yet :D

And to the guy playing with Pro Mods and trying to get 100% road discovery - forget it - it is not possible to get 100% with ProMods.

@Sebmet - SCS never touched Poland, Newcastle, Cambridge, Kalmar in years if not since their very release. Do you have map mods perhaps?
