Physics to mods( car ) in ETS2
I wanna suggest that the physisc in ETS2 for mods especially cars should be modified because in other games i run with 300 km/h an hour slam the brakes and turn in other direction to avoid crashes but here in ETS2 is different i slam the brakes and i slightly turn the wheel a direction and it throws me away in a different zone please lets report this and have a solution

There are no solution. The physics in the game are made for trucks. So with a car mod you get a car behaving like a truck.

Tell this the mod author(s). Nothing for the devs to change here as you use mods (and the game tells you clearly that you use unsuppored third party modifications).

It would be a good idea for SCS to give a way for modders to change the handling, weight and all those paremeters for vehicles. With the amount of official and modded roads this game have, it could become the best "The Crew" ever.

If ETS2 is already famous, imagine after that.

That is where physics mods come in. Don't blame the game if you don't use them or if the mod author doesn't make any with their car mod.

So, SCS should change the physics implementation in order to cater to mod authors that make cars for their truck driving simulation? Something tells me that they won't consider this to be a very high priority... ;)

The amount of physics you can change is really limited as it is right now.

The thing is, improving the customization of physics in the game will also improve truck physics, because it is not that good to begin with, even when you mod it. So improving what you can do with the physics will benefit everyone, vanilla truckers, modded truckers, and modded racers.

You can change it apparently decently enough that there seem to be decent car physics mods out there. But really, changing that for car modders is certainly at the bottom of the priority list. And since trucks don't drive at 300km/h you don't need it anyway.

Just wanted to add, The sim is named. Euro Truck Simulator. at no time, in the review or description of the sim, does it state, that car van or bus driving is an option. If you want to drive any of the afore mentioned, and in my opinion, I do not see the logic, you must live with the limitations of the game. There are so many car focused sims, why not try them?

Because none of them have the amount of roads this game have.

And that is not the problem of the devs.

the crew 1 and 2 have a ton of roads too.
but, lets face it, the devs are never going to change it.

agree with that but we should be grateful of what we have btw i writted that on a very furious mood so dont blame me please :)

I'm of the mind that: I'm not saying they should change it at this point (and I know they won't), BUT if the physics engine worked 'properly', then there would be no problems with car or other mods either.

I personally would love to just cruise around in the world of ETS2 in a nice car here and there. And I know I'm not the only one.

As an old TDU fan, I'd buy both ETS ("European Tourist Simulator") and ATS ("American Tourist Simulator") instantly if SCS decided to make them one day :)
