No, I thought that when it first happened, but (best example) I just put about 30 lights on the front of a Mercedes, and at least 20 times it exited to notifications…
And when you say "I can click on that particular thing", what does that mean, exactly? What are you actually clicking on? An OK button or something?
Also, you have 43 hours playing ETS2. Has this always happened to you the entire time you have had ETS2, or did this problem suddenly start happening today?
So...
The notifications don't say anything. When I say notifications tab, I mean the one that comes out of the right hand side of the desktop screen to tell you that you've got new emails etc... but there's never any notifications on it
Clicking on absolutely anything ranging from the bank/driver/buy truck/map tabs to trying to place things on trucks when buying them, even clicking places on the map. If it involves a mouse click, the first time it's clicked it will minimise and go to the notifications tab... the second time it's clicked (for example the second time I click the bank) it won't do it
43 hours - I did have 35 hours but it's been a few years since I last played. I can't actually remember the reason I uninstalled last time, but I don't remember having this problem last time either
It's happened ever since I installed it a couple of days ago

Really appreciated!
In the end I deleted the profile I was using (annoying because I was on level 9) and the new profile doesn’t seem to have the same bug… so I guess it was a bugged save file
