[SOLVED] Unable to register in world of trucks

When I try to log in using steam I get the following error:

 Already connected to another account.

None from the games owned by Your Steam account can be used to sign up to World of Trucks.

Then when I try to register using my steam-key I get this error:

This code is a Steam product key. Please register using Steam.

Is there something that I've missed?

First, you need to set your Steam privacy settings to NOT hide your game information. Second, you need to use the Steam Account activation and not the Product Key registration.

You will need to activate the game on the WoT website first (using the Steam activation selection) and then you can connect game profile(s) using you WoT login credentials. For an already existing profile, go to the Profile Management screen, then use the Edit Profile selection to add your WoT credentials to that profile.

Thanks for the fast reply, but they are already set to public, yet I'm still not able to log in

Not only does your profile need to be set to "public" but you also need to UN-check the option to have Steam hide your game information. ;)

That should do it. And when you go to the WoT website, and then the Account Options tab of your profile there, what happens when you attempt to connect ETS2 using the Steam Activation method (not the product key option)?

Are you attempting to create a new WoT account? Because that screen shows the game on your Steam account is already connected to another WoT account.

I don't remember creating a WoT account. Also I was on the "Join now" page. When I try to reset my password using my e-mail address I get the error:
Operation failed - the specified account does not exist.

Hello, I'm getting the same error, did you solve the problem? Could it be because I haven't been on ETS2 for a long time? If you solved the problem, I would be glad if you tell me too :)
