game already Beta
hello everyone, I have a problem with the version of my game. Ets2 always remains in beta version despite the fact that I select no beta. Do you have a solution for Ets2 to go into normal mode without beta?

Maybe it is set to update only when you launch it (guessing)? As you set "None" from the list it should automatically start to download the current (live) version, 1.45.1.6s : /

Just a side check, can you install download anything with Steam? Something like installation folder bugged out (try to set a new one then revert to the original one) or there is not enough space on disk (something like 10% free space and more than 15GB)?

so when you select "None" from Betas tab in Settings, the (open_beta) tag remains in the game's title in your library?
If it disappears from the game title after selecting None in Betas tab, then you're on the latest version and nothing will download.
But there's been a couple of updates since beta ended, so perhaps there's something amiss.
Can you copy n paste your entire game log to pastebin.com or some such and post the link here?

How do you know it is in Beta? What version shows when you start ETS2?

I had a similar problem with an update and it was caused by there not being enough free space on my installation drive. The update would start, but soon after would stop without any errors. So my advice, is for you to make more space available on the drive that ETS2 is installed on. My update wouldn't work until I freed up enough space that was equivalent to the total install size - roughly 15 GB.

Running that close to 0% of your harddrive can cause it too crash. Forcing you to get an new ssd/hdd. Always have some 100gb free on your drive. This to ensure updates can be done. It wil also help with running the computer overall. A part of your drive is used by windows as a virtual memory bank. Windows take a slice of your drive for processing reasons.
