Head hunter achievement

Hi guys,
I discovered all the recruitment agencies and drove also in all of it. But the achievement 'Head hunter' does not unlock.

I checked a lot of times if I really discovered all, but I can't find a recruitment agency that I havent discovered.

Does anyone know how to unlock it??

As you described it, no more no less.

What is going wrong would be the right question. Had you loaded map mods on that profile? Do you see warnings/errors in your game log that may be related? Disclose more info and who knows, it may be even a bug.

I don't use mods. I used to play with mods sometimes in that profile, but now I have never played with it for 3 months.

I don't get errors and/or warnings. I tried to delete all the DLC's and load the profile, but that doesn't work because the game is saved with all DLC. (Even if my truck is in the base game that doesn't work).

If it doesn't bother you, you can uninstall all DLC then create a new profile with base game only. Quickly focus on discover all recruitment agencies there and once you get the achievement install back all DLC and return to your other profile. But if the achievement fails to unlock even with a new unmodded profile, then there is something odd : /

Would suggest to install again mods you had but if there are no errors in the log it may bring to nothing.

Are you sure that you discovered them all? Go into the hireing option in the game (not directly from a recruitment agency) and look on the map if there are any "?" left. You might have overlooked one.

@Wolfgang are there any "Hidden" agencies in the game? I really don't see any ? left?

With each update by ETS2, it is possible that an agency will be negatively affected but still show as found.

I have the same issue and tried without DLC's and found all the agencies but no award. I also went back to my main game and went round the map .Took ages as all Map DLC's were installed and didn't get a thing. Everything has been found so there are no more grey question marks . I can also confirm it may have something to do with Iberia as that part of the map is very buggy in terms of frame rates and random spikes of damage on a clear road.

Only thing I can add here is to raise a bug report, there are now a bit too many players missing it : / And even give a look at this other discussion but I'm not exactly sure of what OP did there.

If they really went to wipe all of their Steam Achievements for ETS2 and to try again with base game only, well, that is really a big decision -.- It is not hard to do but even if later one goes back to their main save, and most if not all achievements will be back, they all will shown the same date and time losing any sort of historic value they had : /

My suggestion would be the same I left there, just try with a new, vanilla, base game only profile. Just focus on Agencies and turn off fatigue, offences and anything to easy it.

Edit: it either excludes that the issue is with losing the Recruitment Agency in Frankfurt, as that happened way back on 1.32 : / If there is a bug, must be somewhere else.

and yes, I verified using Wolfgang's tip, there are NO undiscovered agencies in my game.

btw, I'm also having another achievement issue. I have discovered all the french cities but can't get the achievement. According to a guide, one of the required cites is Lacq. I've driven all through there twice but I never get the "discovered" message and the name of the city is still grey on the world map, and I am unable to Quick Travel there.

I found a way to get the achievement. All you need to do is to downgrade your game to older version, I downgraded to 1.36, but I think anything before 1.44 should work. Make sure to back up your main savegame and create a new one to use for older version as savegames from newer versions are not backwards compatible!

To get the achievement faster, disable map expansions and use developer console to teleport around the map. Although it's not as legit as driving from city to city, you may already have visited all of the agencies in your main savegame, so in my opinion using faster methods is justified.

How to downgrade: LIBRARY > Right-click on ETS 2 > Properties... > BETAS > Select the beta you would like to opt into: > Choose the version you want to use.

To return to newest version, select 'None' in BETAS tab.

How to disable DLCs: LIBRARY > Right-click on ETS 2 > Properties... > DLC > Unmark the DLCs you want to disable.

To enable DLCs, mark them in DLC tab.

I also have this issue (achievement doesn't pop up after discovering all recruitment agencies). So now, like i understand, the only solution is to downgrade the version of a game and start a new game?

That is one approach, the most effective at the moment. Back up your current save, go into beta branches and downgrade to 1.36 (as Vorrick confirmed it works) or if do you feel bold, 1.37 and test it yourself. But before to start a newly, unmodded, locally saved profile, uninstall all map DLC and go with base game only (strongly suggest to verify game's files after this). It won't take long to discover all agencies if you focus only on them, and once you get the Steam achievement, you can revert to latest game version, with all DLC and your current save still there and ready to carry on.
