Are MODS compatible with steam ACHIEVEMENTS?

Am i able to unlock steam achievements when i use mods from the steam workshop?

Yes. Using mods will not disable achievements.

Some will affect achievements. When i just started playing i used a Real Gascompanies mod and only discoverd later on it was affecting me getting achievements. By then i was level 25 and when i removed the mod had to start over.

A "Real Company" mod could interfere with getting achievements that are meant to be delivered to specific places, like the Éco service stations in France needed as destination for the "Gas Must Flow!" achievement.

Short answer is YES, some mods can affect achievements and also WoT jobs.

Never had issues with these. Just make sure it is a "skin swap only" mod. The game does not care if the station is called "Éco" or "Total" on the roof over the pumps and the price board. If of course the prefabs for the gas station are changed, then you can't get the achievement because the unloading point might be gone or at the wrong location.

Another thing which won't work is real economy mods. There are achievements of the "do a delivery with length x earning you y money" These are made for the game economy. A hard eco mod will not bring you the required money on that distance. And they also might change employed driver promotion and chances of return loads. So they might also foul the "Have x garages with y efficiency" achievements.

The game does not care of Eco or Total, but if you do not know if Eco has changed to Total or Shell or Esso or whatever other station, you will only guess as to what station to to deliver to if it is telling you to deliver to Eco. I know I mad this mistake when I first started to play.

I do not use real name anything in game now and it does not bother me one bit, but I can understand, as I did, wanting realistic and known names.
