C0000025 error after 1.44
Just started playing for the first time in a few weeks, but it's now CTDing every time with this same error code. It was fine before the update.

I don't last more than a minute each time.

Any advice?

Verify game files.

Right click on the game from Steam library, Select "Properties","Local Files" and then "Verify game files".

Steam will download any problems files and patch the game.

First thing I tried before posting this.

Please post your complete game.log file from the crash to http://pastebin.com (copy/paste, split the game.log if it is too big) and post the link to it here please. This way we can find out what the problem is.

You can find your game.log in your documents in the ETS2 folder as a default install on Windows. (If it is not there check OneDrive.) On a Mac the ETS2 folder is in your Library and there in the Application Support. On Linux the ETS2 folder is in the .local and there in the share.

If pastebin is not available in your country please use http://rentry.co and post the link to it here please. The page works like pastebin.

Are you running TruckerMP, that is the first result in Google. That is a Windows error, look it up on the Windows help website for help with it.

Danny, Nice system.

You have a flare warning that has been related to crashes in another thread. Flare is related to lights. I would disable the realistic headlights mod and any other lighting mods that you may have and test again.

If you have an issue, please supply updated game.log as this is replaced with each game start.

VOID, you have "error while inflating which suggest some corrupted game files. Verify game files by right clicking on game from Steam Library, then "Properties", "Local Files" and then use the option to verify files. Any further issues, then again, post updated game.log

Damn, I REALLY didn't want it to be mods *sad face* - the headlights are really bad as they currently are in VR without the mod.

I'll check that out and let you know. Thanks for the assistance!

I cannot say IF it is that mod that is the cause, or IF it may be something else. You have errors relating to a number of different countries, so test crossing country borders.

Hack, that was it, realistic headlights. It works fine now, thank you a tonne. We'll see how much that's impacted at night in VR...

Roger, will be aware when I leave Holland that it might crash going into Germany, which is where I'm headed, hopefully not!

Last update on that mod was late last year....

For some as yet unknown reason, not everyone using these lighting mods is experiencing issues. If you wish to experiment with other similar mods, then you are free to do so.

You can also leave feedback on any mod that you experience issues with. This may help others that have an issue.
