Warum sollte man sich dann über ETS3 Gedanken machen?

Ich mag diese Grafikengine. Schön ausbalanciert und keine übertriebenen Post-Processing-Effekte. Dazu ProMods und du hast das beste Game ever.

ich hatte mal gelesen wenn man es google ETS 3 aber ist leider noch kein Releasedatum da .
daher dachte ich ich versuche es mal hier um villt was raus zu bekommen ;)

Das kann einfach nur ein altes Datum haben ? da stand sicherlich noch nicht
fest das man ETS2 weiter Updatet und sicherlich auch noch nicht am Ende ist.

Maybe around year 2028+ when the game engine simply needs to be shifted over, but these things cant be preditced unless youself are ready to launch the next era :P

Edit: look at Tf2 or Warframe both are old games but still holds up just like this one and many many others!

Und sowas glaubst du? Das ist extremste Spekulation ohne auch nur einen Anhaltspunkt oder Basis. Dient lediglich den Klicks für Werbeeinnahmen. Ist wie die Sache mit Minecraft 2. Pures Clickbait.

Ein ETS3 wird es nicht geben. Die Lizenzen sind nicht übertragbar (d.h. Neuverhandlung dieser und den garantierten Verlust älterer Modelle), der Content wäre der Gleiche und die DLCs müssten allesamt erneut gekauft werden.
Zudem wird ETS2 weiterhin weiterentwickelt und verbessert, sowie ausgebaut und überarbeitet.

All das ist der mehr als eindeutige Beweis, dass es ein ETS3 nicht geben wird. Es wäre schlechter als ETS2 und somit ein klarer Flop.

Wenn man sich da die Kommentare anschaut besonders aufs Datum achtet stammt
dieser Text wohl von 2017 ist also 5 Jahre Alt,jeder müsste da eigentlich schon
merken das es nicht Aktuelle ist, besonders die Besitzer des ETS2 Spieles.

Weihnachtsstreams von SCS, zu finden auf deren YouTube Kanal. Denke dies wurde zuerst 2021 angedeutet.

June 2021 - During the ETS2 DAF XG/XG+ release stream on Twitch from SCS Pavel mentioned that DX12 is being worked on.

December 2021 - During the Christmas stream which gives a general idea of what SCS is working on Pavel didn't mention DX12 specifically but what he did say can give us hope. He mentioned that there will be performance improvements along with fixing the anti aliasing.

December 2022 - Pavel confirmed that the DX12 engine upgrade has been in the works for 4 years. Pavel wanted to get this released in 2022 but the team was unable to accomplish this. He also mentioned about fixing the anti aliasing, game performance(probably referring to true multicore support), and more. Mentioned that this should be released sometime in 2023.

Hopefully the AA adjustments include TAA/TXAA.

DLSS 2.0/AMD FSR support could come but I am not counting on it. Though he did mention about a new way to render the game too. So anything is possible.

DX12 alone is not going to be a big game changer. What is going to be the game changer is what they can do if they invest the time with it. Right now one of the biggest hindrances is the game is single core. Multi core support is needed.

AA in the game is pretty bad. SSAO is a frame rate killer. SMAA and the small LOD circle is somewhat of a joke.

Majority of the hardware made in the last 5-7 years is already capable of DX12.

Remember that SCS Software is not a major game publisher. They are still a relatively small gaming studio and most employees are not in the game engine/coding area.

it is just hell lot of work. for the same reason no bigger visible changes happened in last updates/years. it would be waste of time to make it

Ah, okay. Ich habe die Entwicklung über einige Jahre nicht mehr verfolgt. Bin gespannt ob das Update dieses Jahr tatsächlich erscheinen wird.
Schon krass, dass ETS2 auf nur einem einzigen Kern läuft...
