Promods Russia- crash

Hello fellow truckeristas.
So I discovered yesterday that promods also have a Russia expansion, me being one that wants the map to be as big and diverse as possible I installed it right away, but it crashes my game, I can load the game but when I open the map to the see and enjoy expected gigantic size it crash.
As the mod require I have all the map DLC's from SCS installed. I also have promods middle east and Europe (and the required "road connect" file), so in theory I should be good to go...
- So do you guys have any ideas?
- Does the priority of the mods in the mod manager matter? If it does how should I set them up?

Promods Middle East files Must be at the top Before Promods Europe. Then the Promods Europe Def file then the Map file and then the rest of the Promods Europe files. What is this "required "road connect" file ?? It's Not needed for Promods Europe and the Middle East maps.

What is this Promods Russia map you are talking about?? Isn't that part of the Promods Europe map ?? There is no seperate Promods Russia map

And yes my friend; there is a Russia expansion map in addition to Europe expansion. It claims to have 51 Russian cities and 18 Belarus. RusMap 2,45. www.promods.net/viewtopic.php?t=10186
I think the "connector file" is to connect the Euro map to RusMap, it came in the bundle when I down loaded the RusMap.

That Rusmap is not made by Promods. It's made by another third party.

You need the PM and RM connection file to run promods and rusmap.

Okay my bad, I found the map on the promods page so I assumed it was made by them. But it doesn't matter to me if it's made by promods or my neighbors grandmother as long as it makes the map bigger and now it seem to work too. Lets hope it still works when I start delivering goods into the new undiscovered areas.
My priorities in the mod manager is now Promods- Russia- Middle East.

Yes, that file came with the bundle and it seem to work now
Edit: The game doesn't crash so that's a step forward, but the new roads aren't connected. Do you have RusMap and Promods? How are your priorities in the mod manager?

Recommended load order for ProMods and Rusmap: https://www.promods.net/viewtopic.php?t=29618

You will need ProMods Europe, Rusmap and the Road Connection between the two. They should load in a certain order, see the aboove link.

Rusmap can be downloaded from https://promods.net/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=10186. It says that the road connector to ProMods 2.62 is in that package.

RusMap will probably be integrated into the ProMods base package in the future - its quality is awesome.

Another cause of game crash might be that you might need the "Zoom Crash Fix". It is a fix from a ProMods guy to make the world map handle many many objects without crashing. The world map will be slightly less detailed but it won't crash...

Thank you very much my friend, I did follow the instructions in the link both you and Spikee posted and I added the "zoom crash fix" and I put it on the top of the priorities, and it worked, at least for a little while, but now when I was driving deeper into Russia I pulled up my map to see where I could park and sleep so I zoomed in and the game crashed again...

What makes you think that will happen or do you mean Promods OWN version of Russia

I'm not sure where but I've read about it in a thread somewhere. I'm not aware of any other version except HoR, time will tell.

If it meets their standards, and I'm sure it does, they'll probably decide to include it (after adjusting the defs to be consistent with the rest - still company definitions are different depending on your map loading order).

Of course this is speculation, I don't know how PM handles this exactly.

Edit: I've mistaken it with The Great Steppe mod - ProMods team have taken over development on this.
