Parts of my truck are invisible.
I decided to change my resolution. After i applied the settings, my truck bugged out and i couldn't see parts of my truck.

however i did notice that if i switch to a non metalic paint the problem is solved.

please can someone help me solve this problem as i would like to have my truck looking the way i want it.

You have to upload the images to either Steam or an external service like Imgur for images to appear. Directly linking to their locations on your computer will not work.

What you're describing(again without pictures), sounds like what happens to me when I use OpenGL. Are you using OpenGL?

Any mods for trucks or accessories/skins?

The game creates a Log file which can include details about crashes or errors. This log can be found in my documents/euro truck simulator 2 named "game.log.txt".
Use http://www.pastebin.com to show us the log.
It will also show us if your running openGl or directx and your system info.

As its happened since you changed resolution its almost certain not to be mod related in this case

Prismix Dec 12, 2019 @ 12:08pm
is it happening with stock skins or just own skins?
Invictus3742 Dec 12, 2019 @ 12:16pm
stock

....weirdddd what resolution did you set? if its not own skins its pointing back to a system or mod issue of some kind. have you tried creating an extra profile in game to test without mods yet?
Invictus3742 Dec 12, 2019 @ 1:41pm
1920 x 1080 is the res. i will create a new profile tomorrow. also the paint on the old scannias (streamline etc) are fine it's just the newer models that are having this issue.

ah ok, i dont use truck mods so i have no experience of their potential issues. It would be fair to assume that it is osmething to do with those newer models. I use paint.net and mods studio for skinning and i know the templates for the newer trucks and even the features within mod studio are quite different compared to the old ones.
