Hazard lights

In ETS2 and ATS, my hazard warning lights would activate every few minutes in the game, for no apparent reason. I can switch it off with my keyboard shortcut, but a few minutes later, and it would start again. Anybody else with the sam eproblem?
And I have de-activated my smart cruise control.

mapping issue? try unplugging all your controllers, and see if it happens with only a keyboard plugged in.

I've experienced similar in an older SCS game called Trucks & Trailers, and also in STDS. The Steam Input would somehow be mapped to the control stick for controlling hazards and lights. So the first thing I want you to do, is ensure that Steam isn't hijacking your inputs.

Library > ETS2 > Properties > Controller > Disable Steam Input.

Relaunch game.

Hi Madman. Thx. It was the emergency brake. Disabled that and game is now back to normal.
