Did it ever occur to you that the new DLC pays for ALL the reworked maps and new FREE trucks that are released regularly?
How do you think SCS pay their staff to work on free stuff?
Some game companies charge full retail price for a new number on the box and a small change to their game, is that what you want?
But didi you ever thinking about older player´s? Lifetime is an limiited thing!
so i wait many years that came up more than one core on my pc is need for the game, i wait about 4 years now for the 12DX uodate.
at this time there was so many DLC and special events. and ever and ever again from the devs annoucments for rework here, trailer dlc there (but still since update after Feldbinder DLC, there is no more spray on double feldbinder weels) but what is hurry need is 12DX and a multicore engine!
what should i do with some reworks and DLC when the Grafiks horrible without an mod?
i play this game since release and 18 tons on Steel before. So, how long should i wait more the game come up to age?
i dont want an ETS 3 when it is realistic the old engine can do better than yet.
i dont understood the discussions of licenses from Mercedes, MAN, Scania, Volvo etc?
ETS2 is bigger than other truck simulations, so why sould some of the company´s say no to an ETS3 with an new engine where the trucks more beautyfull looks? make no sense!
this a my 2 cents.
*sorry for bad granma, you see it is not my native lang ;o)
Yes, I'd rather pay for a rework of the original game than to buy additional DLC, because most of the longer orders go through central Europe, and the difference between the DLC and the original game graphics is huge.
If you want quality instead of quantity then you have to be patient. There are more than enough examples out there already that show what kind of crap you have to expect when things are rushed. If you want a rushed rework then don't complain if it runs like crap even on high-end systems (hope your RTX4090 is water cooled) and crashes like there is no tomorrow.
And before someone comes with "but in my lifetime": We also very likely won't have fusion power and certainly won't be able to explore the Universe in the lifetime of anyone in here. If we are lucky we will manage to avoid the extinction of our species.
Be patient or use the time to learn how to be patient.
So true. I laughed with tears.
This "lemme ease your wallet" practice is so well spread these days, in video games that most people don't understand when a decent company actually does the right thing.
you wont really set up this game experience to explore the universe or what mankind can do in a decade of science!
if the speed bringing the game up to date the messure for time to go, we all still on stone age!, a little step from the beginning!
Again: Quality takes time. You can NOT rush quality. And I bet you would be among the first to complain if the quality of a rushed rework isn't what you wanted it to be.
