DIRTY THE TRUCKS
Good morning, I would like to leave a suggestion for the ETS game. In my opinion, for the game to be even more real and interactive, it would be wonderful to add content to dirty the trucks, in that too, to put a car wash in workshops and gas stations... how about taking this idea? I think that all players will like it a lot, and also that they are not gamers, when they see it, they will definitely buy the game! Hugs to everyone!

You'll have to put this post on the SCS Forum so they will see it.
Devs don't look here that often.
not all truck manufacturers like seeing their trucks dirty

That is actually not an issue. The trucks are even allowed to get dirty. It is just that SCS tried it once during development of ATS but didn't like how it looked and thus removed it again. Doesn't mean that it won't ever come back.

There is a mod that adds dirt to trailers and trucks. There is also one for wheels. Having worked as an HGV driver for nearly forty years, I can tell you, drivers do not like dirty trucks. Inside or out. We take pride in our units.

I understand friend, I just left my comment there on the SCS forum too! Thanks for the tip!

And not everyone likes to see their truck only cleaned! Matter of opinion friend, this can be an optional in the game, I believe!

100%...even us lowly Company Van/Car drivers like to keep our vehicles clean...it's definitely a positive mindset while driving...which helps a lot.

Yes, I'm aware of this mod, because I think it's more in reality, when driving on a dirt road, or in the rain even on asphalt, the truck remains clean with little black on the tires! My friend's opinion, it's not from a person who doesn't have hygiene and organization with the vehicle, because the comment and suggestion would be more oriented to reality! Hugs!

Yes friend, but as I said to our friend above, it would make the game more realistic, and my suggestion would not only be to leave the trucks dirty, but to have a fast wash option within the game!

All the above. A truck wash would be great. Aspen, there is nothing lowly about any Brother or Sister that drives for a living. We are and were doing an important job. I started in vans, it's not an easy job by any means. Big shout out to all the Van drivers around the world!

Not many newer players will be aware that SCS tried to introduce trucks and trailers getting dirty when the game was running DirectX 9. The developers were not at all happy with the results and that feature was put on hold at that time.

There is some hope that after the transition to DX12 (2023?) that SCS will once again be able to visit this feature and get it working in a convincing manner.

This would also add the requirement for working truck washes in the game.
In Farming Simulator 22 it works fine. You can also set dirt to be normal or fast . I like it and also the job after a work day, cleaning it. Adds to the realism :)
