Suspension Height settings reset after breaching 45 km/h (BETA 1.44)
So is that normal? I swear i've seen trucks going on real roads with lower suspension, I really hoped that i will be able to lower suspension in front in few trucks like the old Scanias that have ridiculously high suspension in front.... so my dreams are ruined yet again.

There is this

I was, from the blog post, under the impression that the lowering would only last throgh trailer connection, maybe not...

Well, ultra low is not exactly what i have in mind, but lowered than some trucks in the game like mentioned old Scanias. The new Scanias have just about hight, they're alright.

Use g_suspension_auto_reset 0 so it doesn't reset when driving
Joe__Walker Apr 20, 2022 @ 11:39pm
Go to the config file and then Set g_suspension_auto_reset 0

I think what you're referring to is "lowdeck" trucks, which are usually found hauling "mega" trailers, which are slightly higher as well to accomodate for that specific kind of chassis.
Lowdeck trucks aren't just trucks that have lowered their suspension, it's actually a whole different chassis and sideskirt set.
You will find mods for both of those, but I don't think they'll make it to ETS for a long time if ever, first because of requiring licensing for the special chassis, and two because outside hauling a very specific category of trailers, they have little use.

I know what you're talking about, seen these trucks that are put all the way down yes. Not talking about them. Talking bout regulars. Just look at how high is the old scaniast suspension in front. It's ok in the back, but it frond it's ludacrous. I just wanted to make it more normal, as the trucks i usually see on the roads, they are half as high in front as this truck is. If they hault regular box/curtain trailers that is. Those which haul sand and other stuff usually have higher suspension, obviously, because they also have to ride off the road.
