Well, its a solid truck. Pretty much what you can expect from a MAN. A workhorse that does its job without much fancy attached to it. Only thing i miss is a "real" torque system like it was added to the NG Scania. At least it does not feel like there is one.
MAN is very cool, i drive it 30.000 kilometres already. I just would have some more power.

Why? The biggest engine is like... 640 / 650? More than enough. On my Scania i go with the 580hp engine since forever. Currently i can only use the 440, but for your usual cargo i already deem that one pretty serviceable.

Yeah, when the new gen Scanias came out I put at least 14-15,000 miles on an R730 but I've since configured an R500 that I've driven almost as much (partially due to a certain sound mod that I really like, I prefer the sound of it over the V8).

I like old MAN lot better. New one is like a huge fishbowl, crappy instrument panel, tiny fuel tanks for 6x4 chassis.

Scania max. 730 hp, Volvo 750; new MAN 640, old 680

So? Maybe you just want to enjoy a truck instead of looking at max hp. I mean, to each their own, but just looking at hp is plain stupid. This is not a racing game, any truck can deliver stuff in due time.

I personally love it I've always wanted to run it because the dash lights for it are really nice and I'm not a fan of running mods that change visuals because they tend to break if the game updates and tend to be slow to get an update too, but I always run an 8X4 even though you can technically run the heavy cargo with any truck as long as your engine and transmission is strong enough but it breaks that immersion for me. Glad MAN finally got an 8X4.

truck racing mode with a few race tracks would be nice extra for the game, or there a mod for that ?

Honestly that would be an amazing DLC because the whole semi-truck racing with the 4X2s is actually really popular in europe. It could be an area that you go to that has you load into tracks for, would probably require a lot of work in the AI driver department though. Still I'd pay $20 for a DLC like that.
