Iberia DLC worth it?

Im thinking about getting the Iberia DLC, but on the other side, its a little expensive. Is itworth it when there is a 10% sale or should i wait, until there is a bigger sale? But when
does the bigger sale happen?

There is a ferry from England to Iberia and England is part of the base map.
That it is then an advantage to have also to have France is another talk.

As with everything else, with Iberia it's a matter of taste and pleasure whether it's worth the money.

Personally, I was disappointed and do not like driving in Iberia because Iberia in my opinion has too much modern highways and too little ordinary country roads and small roads.

But I can only hope that Russia gets better at that point.
But the graphics in Iberia are great. :)

What happens if you don't? I've always wondered what happens if you buy... say in ATS, ONLY the Idaho DLC.

But back to OP, I'll say it's up to you. If you care about Iberia or just want a bigger map, obviously it's worth it then, but if you don't care about Iberia, never plan on driving there, I'd say pass for now. I don't drive through it very often so I can't say much on how it plays or looks.

In that case you will have the base map and the Idaho map for you to drive on. IIRC one city is already discovered there (Idaho) and thus you can take quick jobs there. Once you unlocked that you can buy garages online you can then a garage in Idaho and fast travel there.
You won't be able to drive through states you don't own so you won't be able to take a contract from Idaho to Nevada.

Same applies to ETS2, however there are more ferries thus making it less common but e.g. this can happen with the Road to the Black Sea DLC if you don't own the Going East DLC and soon with the Heart of Russia DLC if you don't own the Going East DLC and/or the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC.

Yes,for any version past 1.40 you will need the Iberia DLC to use ProMods...I'm currently running 1.40 and ProMods 2.55. without Iberia....its enough for me and it runs very well on my gaming laptop at 400% scaling and max settings.

I think it is required to run ProMods after version 1.40 (2.55 ProMods)...but I may be mistaken.

I like it. It has pretty scenery. As already mentioned, it's mostly highway/motorway with few small roads, particularly very few cross country small roads.

As for the sale, it was just released last year so you may not see a more significant sale until maybe this Summer or later, especially not until Heart of Russia is released.

According to the compatibility list on promods.net ProMods requires Iberia DLC from 2.60. Earlier versions (up to 2.57) are compatible with Iberia but not required..

I ran 2.57 without Iberia DLC and had to buy it when 2.60 was released.
