Keyboard layout

Heya! Is there any way to change the keyboard layout? I'm weirdly enough stuck with the English keyboard layout in ETS2 contrary to ATS. Any fix to it?

not quite grasping this, the keyboard layout is set outside of the game,

I play both on one pc so both have the same keyboard layout

I assume you play both ATS and ETS2 you can just copy your controls over from one to the other

I know that the keyboard layout is set outside of the game, but ETS2 does not recognize it. It just simply ignores my pcs settings.

ATS worked fine in that regard. I never had this issue with any other game.

No matter what layout I pick on windows, ETS2 ignores it and keeps the English layout.
I'll try to copy the controls, but I kinda doubt that it will make a difference in this case.

I doubt that is tracked within the controls.sii file. Try copying one or both of these instead:

config.cfg
config_local.cfg

Oh goodness me. Controls.sii I copied over to copy the set-up of my wheel from Ets2 to ATS.
But there again the video showed how to copy the whole profile including config etc
