Activate those files in profile under mods. Play promods.
He can't unzip them unless he has all 8 files.
Did you make the def file? There is a bunch of drops downs that makes you able to change colour of roads ect on map, but just leave them as default.
The only really important choice is the def file choice of normal, high or ultra, and ofcause downloading that file and putting it in your mod folder, and activating in your profile.
Also you need to mark all the 8 downloaded files and unzip them as one. The reason is it combines some of the files into 1 1gb+ file and 5 smaller ones.

Then you should take it to the promods forum I think.
The current version you should have in ETS2 is 1.43.3.8s and it was working for me 2 days ago.
You're registered with WOT? And you have gotten the DLC pop up from the game about the DLCs on login? Are all DLC's activated?
I am kinda grasping here, but I think world of trucks serves as registering products for game and dlc besides from giving you data and more jobs. I could be wrong tho, nevertheless WOT is a good thing to add to your game. ;)
