What about this pc? It's from curry's UK?

Add another 8Gb of RAM (they cheaped out there) and bump it up to 16Gb and you're good to go.
Might not run a 4k monitor, but my GTX 1060 runs at a steady 60fps @1920x1200 with most settings on high, so a GTX1650 should be fine. Not a bad price in the present market.

if you can fit it into budget this is one of the best pre builts i've seen in a while. The processor is faster than the i3 mentioned in the Vortex PC by about 2% whilst having a much stronger GPU. Something to consider.

And if you can add even more, then I'd suggest you to go with the 10400F version of the one Askindale posted. I understand 1,000 pounds may be a little too much, but 10400F is still the best cheap CPU on the market and with 2060 it should not have problem to run even future games on high settings in Full HD and maybe even QHD, but I canť guarantee that, something I am not sure I can tell about 9400F, so it's more future-proof. But that's my opinion, of course.

16 GB RAM and 4 GB for graphics are good numbers for medium-High perfomances with scale 200. Expect some 55-60 FPS. With 2 GB for Graphics with same RAM you obtain some 28-30 with sink numbers by Cities, and more loss by night with traffic.

Running on the Vega 8 Graphics from the Ryzen 3 3200g according to some research it will run 1080p mix of medium and low settings at 60fps+. Full medium/high for 45fps if you're feeling adventurous. if you know what you are doing you can add another 8GB of RAM which will make it dual channel and will improve your gaming performance even more + you've got more RAM to work with.

(the FPS is of course a rough estimate and will not be the exact amount of FPS you will get since every PC can act differently.)

I just want something that will run this game which is fairly cheap. As I don't know if I'll like the pc gaming side. If I do I can always upgrade..

Then get something that can be upgraded in the first place.
Just because it is a PC doesn't mean it has useful upgrade options.
Especially with OEM PCs using proprietary parts and layouts.

this PC you've linked is upgradeable it will definitely have an extra RAM slot and an extra PCIE slot for the graphics card since it doesn't have one. Those two are the options that i would suggest that you go for if you were to ever upgrade this specific PC

Change the graphics card for something better (I suggest you not go bellow 1050 Ti, though 1060 or 1650 will be better) and you have your ideal machine IMO.
hackintoshchap Dec 24, 2021 @ 7:39am
A GT710 is not suitable for playing ETS 2 - it is designed for computers that need a graphics adaptor to view youtube, and use the internet.

The machine from Curry's was your best price to performance machine to start with. The 10400F processor with 16GB system RAM and a GTX1650 or above would be a long term improvement.

both these PCs have upgrade potential however the GT 710 is vastly inferior to the Radeon 8 graphics on the Ryzen APU. additionally the RAM can't be confirmed to have dual Channel memory if it isn't stated on the website you are buying this PC from. Dual Channel adds quite considerable performance gain and can hurt existing performance.

I would therefore consider the ryzen APU because The CPU can be upgraded. A graphics card can be added and the RAM can also be upgraded while also delivering better out the box performance.

Ryzen 8 is a better than a GT730. But both are poor options compared to a GT1030 with GDDR5.

A nvidia GT1030 with GDR4 is half the performance of the GDDR5 version. A GTX1650 is better than a PS 4 at 1080P.
