Does the game work under Windows 11.(FIXED)

Hi guys, Ive been away from the game for quite some time as ive not really had the time but now the f1 season has come to a close i thought i`d have a look at how the game is, last time i did play i was on Windows 10 but im now on Windows 11, anyway i updated the game and tried to run it under dx11 64bit but it starts loading then stops within seconds, currently running 1.43, also i have several jazzycat mods from March/April this year but theyve never prevented the game from running, anyone running Ets2 on Win11.

As it turns out....the game was locked to my second screen which was not connected at the time of returning to the game after quite a while.

you loaded windows 11 too soon, wait for it to catch up on compatibility, windows 10 won't be dead for another 3 years

It will most likely be mods, and the fact you missed a lot of patches if you have not run the game for some time. Version 1.43 will break a lot of mods, as a quick look on here will reveal.
You could do this:
Go to "C:\Users\*your username*\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2" after a crash.
Open "game.log.txt" after the crash, (NOT game.crash.txt) in Notepad or other text editor.
Copy it all and then post it to pastebin.com (split in two parts if too big).
Post the link to that page on here.

Hi guys, the game does work under windows 11 but so far it will only openGL, have just tried Ats but that runs under DirectX.

I know that a few folk have posted about using Windows 11 without any noticeable issues.

I am pretty sure that some JC mods from earlier in 2021 may have caused initial issues with 1.42 and ATS in particular - not sure about 1.43 though - are they 1.43 compatible?

I am using Windows 11 I was an early Beta tester as well.
I literally did nothing other than install Windows 11 and all worked seamlessly, personally everything seems that little bit quicker/snappier.
All my Steam games including ATS and ETS2 worked without an issue.

I would put a bet on it being a mod that does not work under 1.43.

Here also - no problems running win11. Very good performance. Just to add my PC met all the update criteria.

Just gone through all my workshop mods aswell as my jazzycat mods and only my franklin graphics mod was incompatible but it didnt stop the game running under opengl, also tried game version 1.42 but still no joy, currently changing to 1.40 to see if that works

I strongly suggest removing ALL mods.

All my mods worked fine using opengl, the confusing part is....Ats v1.43 works fine under dx11 but ets2 wont, but just to be sure im downloading all the latest jazzycat mods i use
