Logitech g23 gears dosnt work

I have a problem with gear shifting, the buttons work normally but when i enter the game i can't shift gears, same for forza horizon 5, i have g hub installed, I checked the settings in the gamel, and nothing, does anyone have the same logitech wheel and could help me

I have the same wheel....and no problems.
I would try first to disable the steam gamepad emulation (right click on game>properties>Controller) for the game to check if that is not messing things up.

And you forgot the 9 in 923

Forza 5 has "no wheel support" thats to the fullest. its made for a controller tho you can use a wheel but it would not be 100% like other car games: project cars, assetto corsa, wrc, dirt. it will let you use wheel but not to its fullest potential!.

when it comes to Eurotruck it wont be hard to setup. now we need information is you gear connected thrue the wheel base? or sepperated with usb? is the gearbox from logitech? or did you install the Th8a for example, then its diffrent drivers. "thrustmaster" try check and in game add another controller for example in eurotruck i can pick my wheel and keyboard as the main top one. on the second one i pick my gearbox and add all my buttons. then you will have to change what type of gear you want automatic, semi auto.. the H.. and so on. but make sure you have drivers installed.

Now last but not least remember that your wheel is new and might not yet have full support. also in logitech you can create profiles for diffrent games and change the id and such maybe activate gearbox and see if it registers your gearbox propperly in the application . im more used to the old one witch is logitech profiler for g27. their new application is nothing im used to. so how to configure that would probbably be esier to watch on a youtube.

I do not have a Shifter, I change gears on the steering wheel, logitech g hub is updated to the latest version,
previously I had a logitech g920 and there was no problem, I didn't change anything in the game settings

BTW this is if you dont have steam cloud enebled.

please try removing steamcloud from steam select game with right click properties remove the steamcloud check . edit profile in game remove steamcloud run the game "drive" then save game then turn the game off

go to documents/ eurotruck 2/ delete global_controls.sii

documents / eurotruck 2 / profiles / chose the folder with numbers "one of the profiles"
delete the files controls.sii and all gearbox layout.sii
start the game and try setup your gear with the buttons. if any file missing while you try to run the game go to steam right click properties veryfy game files. and then start it up again.

should work. tho i think that maybe you uninstalled the other wheel. installed the new one and some old files still around in windows register or something from the other wheel and gets the pc confuzed, with the id´s but im not sure thats something you going to have troubleshoot. my suggestion will then be to reinstall windows. from windows menu settings update and security and on the left side recovery. just make sure you have your game profile backed up. and other things you might want to keep. there is an option to delete all files and install a fresh start or keep old files like documents / pictures but will reinstall windows only. so pick that first. ;) good luck hope it helps if not then i cant help you hopefully someone els might
