Convoy multiplayer or Truckers MP?

Which one is better and why?

Convoy is the official multiplayer and you can use mods in there that TMP doesn't support. Additionally you don't need to download any programm and you don't need to make any additional account. Also you can use the same profile for MP and SP without issues. You can play with your friends and even password protect your Convoy session if you don't want random stangers to join and potentially ruin the experience. You are also able to take the same contracts as your friends and can adjust a lot of things. Also you can have AI traffic in Convoy.

TMP on the other hand supports more than 8 players and is hosted on dedicated servers. But only some mods are supported by TMP and it is more a MMO type of multiplayer than the co-op what Convoy is. TMP doesn't have any AI traffic.

i would rocommend you use scs software convoy no extra downloads to setup :).

i would go for scs softwares convoy mp because no extra programes and plus you have ai traffic and mods map mods you can use which is awesome anyways :). plus you dont get any annoying trolls like you do in truckers mp which is heavy with them.

which i bedt depends on what youYYOU want to fo. Both have both pros and cons.

Do you want to play with friends: The built-in Convoy.

Do you want to play with strangers: TruckersMP.

TruckersMP is quite good, just stay away from Calais, Rotterdam and Duisberg because thats where the idiots are.

Played TruckersMP quite a while before but uninstalled it due to trolls and rammers every where, sometimes you get reported for doing nothing not worth the trouble. Since convoy came out on ETS2 been playing it a lot even if it's 8 players maximum is still okay hoping more future updates for convoy.

I stay in tmp promods. no trolls,and the convoys are announced on the webside of tmp and trucksbook. for me the problem with the multiplayer is that you cant join convoys because you dont know when they start. And the big convoys on tmp are mostly on event servers where the mods react quickly when there are trolls or other problems.

Truckers MP should be re-named Chocka Truckers MP.

TruckersMP staff has never been fun to deal with and lots of trolls. I would stay away from TruckersMP in the state as it is now. TruckersMP never stood up for its player base and I don't think it ever will.
