XP cheat engine fail...

money change worked. But for some reasone i can not change my XP. After i changed the value in cheat engine i do another short job and i get XP as normal. But... the value on cheat Engine changes back to whatever XP i currently have in the game any ideas on a fix?

First, why cheat tho?
Anyway, for whatever reason let me help you.
You probably changed the wrong data, Here how it's done.
1: Find your XP value in cheat engine
2: Do any small job and you'll get some XP
3: Enter your new XP in Cheat engine and select next scan.
4: You'll now have few data entries, one of them is XP DWORD data so change them all or do one by one to see which one it is.

To see new XP just close and open menu to refresh the data.

I have played the game the hard way before. I just got a new PC and did not backup my old saved profile, i know i should have.

Now im more interesed in the beta and i would love to just try out the new things....

Anyway. I did the exact thing you just advised me to do. Im pretty sure i got the right adress for XP but i wont change the XP in game.

When i refrech the games XP by doing a samll quick job, the value changes in Cheat Engine to the value of XP i game. In other words it changes backwards

Would be easier to change the amount of bonus XP you get for parking a trailer to 999999999 or something like that. I don't remember where was it, though, I haven't been playing ETS2 for a couple of months.

Yeah you must really have played the hard way before with 42 hours in game you must have really had a lot of money and xp before

If you know how to decrypt the savefile that is encrypted and what tool to use and how, but it takes 5-30 sec to give 999999XP for parking.

what decrypting? lol Just searching for the Value that my current exp is, change all values that aren't in any colour, go back to game, swich to map and back, save the game and you're good to go, no need to decrypt something...

Savegame is encrypted a while back, known fact if you are a frequent lurker on SCS forum and how you encrypt is still there in the cyberspace.
Doing what you sugest dont work anymore unless it is decrypted with tool after you make some changes in the gamecode. The 18WOS style dont work anymore and cheatengine corrupt the file in the longrun.
