Escort vehicle problem

Hi,
I'm trying to finish a special delivery, but I'm stuck on Oresund bridge. Escort vehicles can't be seen anywhere, and if I start moving, after a while I get the error popup about leaving the escort vehicles. I tried to exit and restart and game (several times, it solved a similar special transport bug earlier), tried to simply wait for them (never appeared) or go very slowly to give them time to catch up, but I couldn't solve this issue. Is there anything I could do, other than paying 15000 EUR because of the bug? :(

Try to keep going, lately Special Transports have been affected by bugs more than usual. If cannot finish it in any way reload from before to take that delivery : /

Based on the description, I assume that it is Trelleborg -> Esbjerg you are talking about?

Unfortunately, there is nothing to do but cancel the job.

Tried it just now, all went fine with a Quick Job.

And then reloaded, quick traveled there, tried it with my own truck (from a test profile) and bugged out at first round about ^^'

Front escort car went into the roundabout and instead to take the first exit remained inside it. I took the first exit and soon after lost sight of both escort cars. Reloaded once again and again front escort car remained inside the round about. This time I stopped before to enter it to see if escort car was going to complete a turn and leave but nope, escort car too stopped not much forward than my position so I again went in and out alone. Delivered it anyway, but much faster : D

After further testing (by reloading the same save from before taking ST) with both available jobs there, I found that approaching the first roundabout slowly enough (front escort car stops before to enter roundabout while I'm turning at previous intersection) will avoid to trigger the bug there. Didn't had enough time to check what lies ahead : /

Finally I was able to finish the job, but it was tricky :-/
I tried to go slowly, 'trick' with autosave points, and finally I was able to go through the bridge. After that I could go with normal speed (60 km/h) without the escort vehicles, which didn't reappear at all, but I go more errors about leaving them behind...

While I failed to replicate your same issue, got some more insight there ^^'

I tried again with Quick Jobs, same job, same time, and managed to keep front escort car on lane. But then... rear escort car made a complete turn inside the first roundabout, left it on the second lane, passed me and front escort car as if we were not there : O

Tried to go forward just to catch up with it at first intersection, where it was stopping completely on the second lane. We went forward, moved on the ramp, waited a bit but rear escort car never moved, then we went forward without it.

Passed first tollgate from the special gate on the right, passed the first bridge but then... as going down on the other side of the bridge, front escort car started to flicker while coming to a complete sudden stop. Crashed into it of course -.- Reloaded from a checkpoint and front escort car was still there flickering, but in few seconds vanished completely. Then I was able to continue until the end without escort cars.

But then tried again and again from the beginning in order to get both escort cars to survive the first roundabout, and it took maybe half dozen tries : / Always with second escort car doing a complete turn inside roundabout and wrong lane exit in the very beginning, always with front escort car flickering after the bridge. Tried even to pass the flickering escort car from second lane, but then another car crashed into it making delivery to fail -.-

Were close to think I made a jackpot with the very first try of yesterday when finally even the second escort car went out of the roundabout normally. Problem, I don't know how? ^^' Maybe right speed, maybe right trajectory, but after that spot nothing aside ordinary issues happened. Thankfully developers are investigating it so hope for the best : )

me I found that sometimes front escort vehicle stops randomly fast or drives some road too slow example 20kmph instead 60

Similarly, from Olhão to Setúbal, the trailing escort vehicle just .. failed to follow. Making the trip impossible.

A subsequent attempt along the same route resulted in a lead vehicle that refused to move again after getting stuck behind other traffic at a red light. Save / load cleared that out.
