But in saying that use your H-Shift, its your game.
EDIT And of corse I don't wanna sell it because I'm playing ATS too, and America still preserves "real old values" :D

In Finland Volvo FH or FM don't have manual option anymore and Sisu uses MB engines and automated transmissions, optional is Fuller 18-speed manual. Hybrid Sisu uses only Fuller.
Edit: forgot to tell that I didn't find Renault T specs but seems to only option for transmission is optidriver (=i-shift rebranded)
Manual (stick shift) is an optional feature only some manufacturers still offer for certain configs
It's getting very rare and trucks get more "automated" and "assisted" (not autonomous for sure) anyway
As an example, the company I work for doesn't have a single manual truck
Even our smaller TGM trucks are equipped with a 12 speed MAN/ZF transmission
He said that sometimes if you want a manual transmission you have to extra pay for them because automatic is in standard in most of truck they buy.
But we will still have ETS2 where you can use your shifter
For me it makes gameplay more funny so even if most truck nowdays are automatic i still prefer manual here.
(with a Torque Converter*) anyway, they are 'Hybrid-Automatics'.
Which means the Transmission is actually cut for a short period of time from the Engine and a Clutch is being operated automatically.
Trucks/Buses will actually roll back a bit on a steep Hill if not using a Hill climb holder.
*Excluding most Sports Cars, like Porsches PDK etc.
But not in a Truck Sim. Well, to me it is.
I even use "uset g_hshifter_synchronized "0"" in config_local.cfg.
This is not like last, but before last century!
And hard work and big fun!
Well, at least with a good power steering.
I drove Sisu M160 series (search for "niittikoppi" Sisu) wtih Rolls Royce 320hp paired 13-speed fuller. Shifting speed was amazing and it was so easy to drive without clutch, if you managed to get engine speed to perfect match to next gear.
Btw, worth for testing: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=257924
And please report back if you find a FFB shifter!
I drove a Land Rover Series 3 from Bombay to Varanasi with a defective clutch release cylinder. After that you do not need a clutch anymore.
