50k addons

does anyone know if 50k addons work on any version or do they have to be updated. i cant get mine to work on v1.40. or at least the text doesn't show. i had it working in v1.39 ok

I suppose you're talking about mods with addons?
With 1.40, a new lighting system was introduced that has made many mods obsolete, especially mods that have something to do with graphics (eg trucks and trailers) and mods that have something to do with light.

It is well known among the regular users of forums that any update of the game gives lots of inexperienced mods users problems with their games.

It is very different how long it takes from a game update until a mod is updated .. and some mods have not been updated for several years (and may never be).

One mod = One risk of problems
Many mods = Many risks for problems

Remember before removing incompatible mods: First sell the parts related to the mod.

As far as I know the official version has not been updated.
