Truck wont go over 90
I just noticed that my truck is limited to 90 kph, so I looked at the truck limiter and I cant check and uncheck it. It is faded and unchecked right now. Just wondering whats going on, If it helps I am in Spain.

oh yes I was, I guess when pulling one of those trailers they limit us so we cant just fly through it. As soon as I dropped the trailer I was all good.

All WoT contracts have a maximum speed of 90 km/h locked, and this cannot be changed either in settings or with mods.

Yes, also the drive to pick up the trailer is also limited to 90. As soon you hit on accept you cant speed to much :P

Hey all, even with out an active contract i cannot speed over 90 in every map, why?

Maybe you have the speed limiter activated?

You probably have a check in game settings top speed limiter under truck settings.
If yes .. Uncheck this, then you can run faster than 90 when you are not tied to a WoT job.

Then you have probably tried to change the setting while working on a WoT job ... and that is impossible as WoT jobs are hardcoded to max. 90 km / h
You can only change that setting when you are either free or running regular contracts.

Nobody can change Max speed of External contract and external market, Never try or Banned.

Except there is no banning in ETS2, as it is a single player game. The 90 kmh speed limit is there to make sure everyone on WoT plays at the same level, no engine or gearbox mods will affect their speed.

Unchecking the speed limiter makes no difference I have a mod truck in euro truck simulator 2 the freightliner argosy I have a 720hp engine and it only maxes out at 90 but it doesn't feel like I'm even going 90

WoT contracts always have the speed limiter active. Otherwise it is a mod issue.
