product code?

where is my Product Code found? i checked my steam game receipt, i looked in my account and key activations, but i can not find it. i want to sign my ets2 account into WoT but it will not let me. says i need to enter my product code. i am already on WoT with my ATS account, but now to get my ETS2 connected.

None is required. You activate it by logging via your Steam account.

i start the game. on my profile where it says to connect my profile to WoT i click it. it asks for my name/email and password. i enter them. now when i click on apply it tells me i do not have a registered copy of the game. when i click on to register existing user which connects me to the WoT page and will log me in, but it still will not register my game. everything else i find want my code.

The WoTr website gives 2 options for registering your game: Code or Steam. Choose Steam.

wow, all day i have been trying and now it finally connects. i do not get it, but thanks everyone for the help. idk if it was something with steam WoT or on my end, but it is working now. thanks again for the help.

hmm... guess i spoke too soon. it is telling me now it is an existing account. yes i am logging in through steam and i tried the other way also. no go on my ets2 account connecting. will just try again tomorrow i guess. i am done messing with it for the night. on the WoT page it is not showing my ets2 truck on my page also.

If you go to the WoTr website, log in, and then click on the "Account Options" tab, you should have an option there to link your ETS2 game.

tried that and it kept saying it was an existing account.

now on a whim i figured what could it hurt to try and reinstall the game. while reinstalling i also reset my password info on WoT and steam. good news it has connected now, bad part is, i am not sure which one of those fixed the problem.

the only problem now is getting it to connect to MP, but that is another deal and i will figure out.

There is no MP for the game. There is a hack for it, yes, but it has nothing to do with SCS themselves.

i know which is why i said i would deal with that part (mp) not working myself. why would i look to scs for that when it is thrid party? up till now i was just trying to get my ets2 profile to connect to WoT's. which it has connected now.
