activation key problem

Hi, I have a problem I can no longer find the activation key of the game, purchased on steam (2013), how can I solve the problem?

You don't get a key when you buy the game on Steam.

If you bought ets2 from steam, then it will be in your games library.
Contact steam if it is not there.

You've picked the wrong thing on account creation. Use Steam Registration instead.

"Retail" implies buying from a physical store, AKA a CD with a game on it. These days even those "retail" copies aren't even a CD, just a Steam key.

As has been said, you need to activate it via your Steam account. But for that you have to make your library on your profile public.
