Renault Magnum.
Is there a reason this lorry does not have a sat-nav? And, is there a way of fitting one. Cheers ladies and gentlemen.

As the Magnum is a pretty old truck it was most likely never fitted with it.

Only way I think is possible is with the Cabin Accessories DLC and the Sat Nav in it.

By the way. Is there any chance of this truck (and perhaps others "classic/base/old" trucks) will be revisited/updated by SCS? :greasemonkey: At least interior: buttons, gauges etc. Would be nice to have HD quality inside the cab. For now it looks grainy.

Most likely not. This truck is not even in production anymore.

I did drive one for a firm in West London. Didn't like the way it rolled around. You feel the movement of the load and the road from your seat. Sitting on a huge airbag didn't crack it for me. Lots of space inside though.

I do wish there was a official way for SCS to update the older vehicles in the game since they are so out of place. I know mods exist but they break and can corrupt save files. But who knows maybe one day.

Then we wouldn't be able to buy most of the vehicles in the game from the various dealerships. Only the new ones currently in production. Though it would be cool if you could buy the older trucks used in various states of disrepair. That would only work if they made maintenance/repair more involved, and possibly simulate wear and tear from excessive mileage reducing power and making steering more wobbly etc.

All of this is complicated and will either be over-done or under-done resulting in the change taking away from the experience instead of adding to it. If done correctly it would be epic, like grafting the Gran Turismo 2/6 used car dealership with ETS2.

I think they were always a bit of a marmite truck (you either love it or hate it), wouldn't mind a go in one though.

It's a bit hairy in high winds Smudge. I was on the A2 with an empty curtain sider, sails in the wind mate, sails in the wind...

Not what I meant. I just meant a texture update and a few stock color options rather than just dark gray.
