you will have to do a few quick jobs before loans are unlocked though
just a warning though iveco have the worst sounding engines too, they are like a Vacuum Cleaner type noise
Do a bunch of quick jobs and see if you'd not rather save up a bit and not get the cheapest... they can be less fun to drive, or I suppose most fun, depending on how you like to play.
Quick jobs gain you some cash and expose you to some of the differences between trucks, you can choose the job based on what truck is to be used and get a feel for what is available.

Worth adding, many make their "best truck" decisions based on mirrors or dash display, as performance is generally not so different between trucks of similar engine torque and gearbox quality.
Also, don't obsess over owning your own truck. It does not fundamentally alter the way the game plays whilst driving so there is no harm in doing dozens of quick jobs and building up a tidy sum in the bank before committing to becoming an owner operator.
