I have just tested for Motorhomegirl to ensure it does work before she upgraded.
I just need to change my FFB settings a little to get the feel I want.
Edit: Actually got my G27 working (so far) in Windows 11. I got it working once with Logitech Profiler, then messed around and it stopped working. Finally what I did was first installed Logitech Gaming Software, which of course doesn't detect my G27. Then installed Logitech Profiler and even though I believe Windows 11 game a couple error messages, it's working for now.
- Haven't used it in ETS2 BTW, am using it in Farming Simulator 22. But came here for answers.
I can download the Logitech Profiler APP and use it just fine. The Wheel and the pedals are getting connected and work with the Profiler.
There is one huge Problem tho,
The G27 gets shown as a Drivingforce GT in the Profiler. The problem there is, that this wheel only goes to 90 Degrees to Left and right. So i cannot use the full Wheel and i cant use the Shifter as well, because the Drivingforce GT does not have a shifter.
I already tried to search for Updates in WIN Update, but it wont give you any.
In the Hardwaremanager, the G27 shows up as a Drivingforce GT. There arent any Driver Updates that windows will find by itselfe.
I also tried to install the drivers manualy, by picking the right wheel in the Driver-Settings of the Drivingforce GT. If i use the G27 Drivers, the wheel will restart and gets shown as a HDI Controler. The Drivingforce GT will still be in the Hardware list and it will not change anything in the Profiler app.
Till now, i think you cannot use it right. I can use it in games, but just with the limits that the Drivingforce GT would have. As soon as i hit the 90 Degrees, the wheel is going to try to stop you from pushing fourder in to the direction, by activating the Force Feedback.
If you can use it normaly, you are a lucky person that finds the right drivers automaticly or you did something that the Wheel works again.
If there is any solution, please let us know.
Greetings.
Uninstall profiler it is very old, You need LGS 5.10 download here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024699674--Downloads-G27-Racing-Wheel
I can get it working without memory protection, but I'd rather have a more secure computer and change the wheel.
Got the exact same problem here, have you found any solution?
The problem is that there are many people out there where the wheel is fully operational, but there are other ones like me, where the wheel does not really work or gets weird problems.
I like the Desing of the G27 more than the new ones so i would be very sad to give my working G27 away just for buying a new one
