Would a twenty year old Mad Catz Universal wheel that has USB work for this game?

I do not currently have it with me and I am not sure of the model, but it is old. It has adapters I believe to plug into different systems all at once. I want to say I have tried the wheel many years ago and played a racing game on the PC, but I can not remember for sure. Even if it did, there would be no guarantee it would be recognized by this game or in particular ETS1, which is what I currently have. Again it does have USB, but not sure how that relates to PCs. Only reason I am asking here is because I plan on buying this game eventually and ETS1 has hardly any forum traffic. Thank you.
