If the answer is yes to all of that, then we can make it work using a program called X360CE, which emulates an xbox 360 controller, which we can control with any controller plugged in, such as this racing wheel. If not, I'm afraid that's as far as my knowledge on this goes.
Alternatively we could cut some of the electronics, and rewire it to an actual 360 controller, shove the 360 board into the wheel shell(or right out the back), and make it think it's a 360 controller. It might not be that simple though. :P
The strange part is that this version of the HORI RWO is the same model number (XBO-012U) as the normal one that works on PC and has the selector button but yet it does not have the selector buttons on it.
I found this video showing a tear down of the wheel itself, this is the exact version that I have as you can see it does not have the selector toggles that I highlighted in my screenshot of the wheel in my original post above:

I don't know if that would show you anything useful but I love the way you think about gutting it and adding a 360 controller pcb to it or something. Do you know of a guide or documentation you could point me at to make such a mod? I happen to have a wired 360 controller laying around that I could nab the board from, lol.
