What wheel do you use? And how's it holding up?
Thought It'd be fun to ask the player base what wheel you use and how's your experience with it?

I've been debating between a thrustmaster tmx pro or a g29, a lot more people seem to use the g29. Are they just more reliable?

My guess would be .. Price, price and Price . Then reliability, warantee and Support . MOst games that use a wheel are setup with Logitech wheel / Default settings so you can just jump into the game and go if you will . And ofc Price . Logitechs go on sale constantly . GEt one for 200-250 all the time .

I offer up no brand loyalty, but the G920 is a great wheel (some fanboys head just exploded) and I have been very happy with it. I've never used any other wheel so nothing to compare it to. I think it is a quality wheel at a reasonable price. the next person you ask might say the 920 is the worst wheel out there.

I have a Thrustmaster TX base. Between my brother and I we probably have about 4000 hours on it. I recently replaced the cooling fan in it, because games like iracing, or AC, and ACC were causing the fan to go wild. Replaced it and it's not loud anymore. ATS/ETS2 never caused the fan to cut on, but a good hour of AC and it will cut on. Overall love it with my custom wheels I have for the base.

Logitech G27 at least 8 years old, still going strong.
I use it for ATS, ETS2, and various racing/rallying games.
Never had another wheel so cannot compare.
Keep looking at the FANATEC stuff, but that is all I will do, a bit to steep for my pockets.

Thrustmaster TMX, been a good wheel for over 2500 hours of ets2/ats.

Recently replaced it with a TX base, but had to sent that back to Thrustmaster for repairs before actually using it properly (some add on wheels weren't working with it properly)

So still on the TMX, great wheel, but small compared to the TX base and the gto250 and R383 wheels, can't wait to get the TX base returned.

Using it with a th8a shifter and t3pa pro pedals

I'm planning on buying Logitech G29 and Thrustmaster T300 RS GT. RS GT version is important, as regular T300 comes with garbage pedals.

G29 all the way. Had mine a couple of years so far. Seen me through F! Games, Asetto, AMS, rFactor, Farming Sim, WRC, Dirt Rally, BeamNG, iRacing, ATS and this, many hundreds of hours. Without hesitation I will buy another one once this breaks.

G920. cheap and reliable. 3 pedal setup so good for manual gearboxes. most of the other wheel pedal sets only have 2 pedals and cost more.
The splitter i bought cost more than the wheel did lol. but it is a SKRS scania splitter designed for ETS2 and ATS and is a replica scania shifter. great for scania and volvo trucks but not so good on other brands of trucks cause no settings in setup for other trucks.

Still using my G27. Works great after thousands hours of use. But only 200+ hrs in ETS2... Next I will buy Fanatec pretty sure if Logitech don't make new good wheel.

Logitech G25 with switchable H-pattern/sequential shifter and pedals. Over 1100 hours use between ETS2 and ATS, and used in other games before those. Bought it in 2008. I've had to replace the pot for the accelerator pedal, but other than that, still performing like new.
