Dirt/gravel roads.
Anyone knows if there are any long dirt roads in ETS 2 or ATS? I know that it's a truck sim, and you mostly go by asphalt, but still, sometimes you have to deviate. Is there any "offroad" parts? I like the sound of gravel and the cabin movement, to be honest... No mods, base game or DLC only. Thanks.

There are no long dirt roads in the game without mods.

why no mods? I am playing a stand alone North Brazilian map in 1.38. Couldn't find that map in 1.39. It has a lot of dirt roads. Hard packed dirt roads. Roads with ruts where you tend to slide and rock filled, pock marked roads where you can, depending on settings get bounced literally off the road. It has flooded roads also. It is very well down map with none of the pointy low polygon mountains of some modded maps.

It has 1 stretch of road that takes about 30 minutes of real time to get through at about 30km. Hear there is a lot of cabin bouncing and I had 1 truck that really couldn't handle the road. its that bad. But I own a garage there, not to transport but when I feel like mucking a round. Why not try a modded map? It loads fast. It isn't small like some maps. I have done 9 jobs so far and only explored about 4.5% of the map. As standalone, it loads fast. I bumped my config traffic to 1.7 and now traffic is about right for it.

Otherwise, like mentioned, only a few job pickups have gravel. In Norway there are a few more jobs that start/end on gravel.

Playing on MP. So, no mods, only DLC's. Wish developers made some standart dirt roads, as a detour to main routes.
